-20F in eastern Washington State while in college. 40 mph windchill factor, took 2 days to feel my fingers and toes again. Bike was a Honda CB350F, 5W30 oil.
-6F in TN, 30 mph windchill factor, 20W50, no problems.
Won't run anything other than Castrol 20W50 year round in my 98. 10W40 vaporizes out within an hour (heavilt hot rodded bike, less than 300 pounds wet weight).
